Jason's Story
Eating has not always been a strength of mine. In fact, I have vivid memories of struggling with weight as a child. Everyone has to start somewhere on their journey to health.
For the past 10 years, I have dedicated my life to learning about nutrition and fitness and I am excited to share everything I have learned with you. The theme that I always come back to, regardless of all of the things I have tried, is "optimization". I hate dieting, I like optimizing. Why do we need to restrict ourselves when we can chose/find a more optimal version of the things we like? I believe that we can set ourselves up for success by having an open mindset about food and creating a foundation of good habits. Do you like yogurt? Let's optimize it to eat the highest quality without sacrificing taste. Do you like sweetened coffee drinks from Starbucks? We can find new options that aren't overloaded with sugar and still may be just as tasty. Making small changes to our "go-to" foods gives us a foundation that we can build upon. Over time, all of these changes add up to huge results.
I would love to have the opportunity to work with you to optimize the foods you like to eat and build new habits over time. In the mean time, be sure to check out my Instagram account, Optimized Eating, for free tips on everything nutrition, eating, health, and fitness.
